After over ten years in the business, we greatly
appreciate the consistency and dedication of the H&H staff under Linda's
leadership.
This has been a delightful departure from the corporate
mentality of greed, "stab-you-in-back-to-get-ahead" agenda, and indifference
to the value of the individual that led us to the business in the first
place. If anything, the value of the individual is augmented even more by
H&H! Even though we had a tough year in the business, when we attended
the convention and received honors for being the top producer of snacks, and
third top of the Happy Indulgence, it made us feel great and has spurred us
on to do even more to be successful in the coming year.
This type of family
atmosphere and eagerness to help us succeed is rarely found in the corporate
world, and has been a great source of encouragement to us over the years.
For our kids, it provides balance. They help unload
boxes, they work retail events -- and they eat the bars, of course!

| We both went to the San Diego Convention. It
was a big decision for us because we really couldn't afford to go. There were so many
funds tied up. But truthfully, we couldn't afford NOT to go! The best thing we could
have done was go to San Diego. We loved to visiting the factory, which was great. That was
such a wonderful trip. It rejuvenated us, and we got all fired up by all of the other
franchisees and the employees at Happy & Healthy. When we need a pick-me-up, we just
pick up the phone and call the office and there is always somebody there to help pick us
up! It truly is a family. When you are around everybody, it really feels like you are in
your extended family. It was a great trip we desperately needed. It helped us to set new

Through new products and other tools for sales growth

| I went to the entrepreneur show one Sunday
afternoon because I had never been to a show like that. I wondered what they were selling
at the entrepreneur show. I also wanted to know what a franchise was all about because I
heard a lot of good things and a lot of bad things about franchising. But, I was not
really looking for a business. So, out of the blue, I went in, walked around and saw a lot
of interesting things. Then, I saw your nice booth and Linda did a pretty good
presentation, so I went in on Monday evening to the workshop to hear more about it.
I made
up my mind about the business by telling myself "If she delivers what she says, than
I have nothing to lose and I'm in." But still, when I wired the money, I was
kind of nervous because I wired all this money and wondered, "What if Linda
disappeared?" But, I talked to other franchisees, and they made me feel okay.
Whenever I need anything, the H & H staff is always
there for me.
