Instructions: 1. Remove wrappers from Fuzzy Navel bars and place in microwave container. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Bars should be partially melted. Remove sticks and stir until the bars are completely melted. Melted liquid needs to be cold. Measure 1¼ cups of melted Fuzzy Navel and set the remainder aside. 2. Make the Angel Food Cake according to the package instructions, except substitute the 1 ¼ cups of Fuzzy Navel liquid for the 1 ¼ cups of water. 3. Bake according to package instructions in an Angel Food Cake Pan. 4. While baking, mix together the red raspberries, drained mandarin oranges and the fresh sliced strawberries. Pour reserved Fuzzy Navel liquid over the fruit and stir. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. 5. When removing the Angel Food cake from the oven, it is recommended to invert on a bottle or cups to cool. I would recommend using both to prevent the cake from falling since it is a bit heavier with the fruit from the Fuzzy Navel bar. 6. Once cooled, slice, top with fruit and Cool Whip and serve. The cake is also good eaten plain.
Note from Judy: You can notice the pieces of
peaches in the angel food cake. This is an easy and
light dessert. It adds flavor to the cake, but still
keeps it fat free. The Betty Crocker Angel Food Cake
Mix I think worked better. Anyone can make this and
you can use any of the juice bars to change the flavor
around.
